'Mail Call' - What's under the kilt?
I noticed that in the current video-montage advert for the Mail Call programme on The History Channel, the host, R. Lee Ermey, appears to 'flash' the viewer with a (censored) view of what's under the front of his kilt, in one brief scene. I assume a viewer must have sent in a question about it, but I can't find a description of any episode that mentions British regiments or kilted troops. Does anyone know if there's a Mail Call show about that?

Mail Call...
I seem to remember an episode about Scottish regiments, and R. Leee speaking very highly of the fighting abilities of "The Ladies from Hell".
I wonder if he knows about the Leatherneck tartan or Sgt. Farr? ;)
Cheers,
Todd

I wouldn't doubt it. He is very knowledgeable about the Corps.

He did have a question asked about the Ladies from Hell in one episode. As for the kilt flash, though it wasn't shown, he was NOT regimental.

Just in case anyone gets the wrong idea, I want to say that I am not interested to see what Ermey has on (or not) under his kilt! But I would like to see the episode about kilted troops, if there is one, and it sounds like it was presented as at least one part of an episode.

I saw that episode some time ago. It was at the very end of the show. He was wearing a Black Watch kilt, and started pulling up the front, teasing the audience. The bottom hem got up just a couple of inches above the knee.
Cindy,
I know you too well. I know what your real interest in this episode is. ;-)

I believe that episode is in one the second season shows which is available on DVD. It's good viewing, Ermey knows his stuff and is always entertaining.

Yeah, I remember seeing the "teaser" for that episode and I made a point to watch it only to have to sit through the whole thing and find it was one brief bit at the end. There certainly ought to be enough material available to make a whole show. "Awright you momma's boys! Watch me decapitate this watermelon with a claymore! Any questions? Abu ya!"
