    Whisky DC Single Malt Tasting

A group of the Rabble attended Whisky DC Single Malt Tasting in Olde Towne Alexandria (VA). It was hosted at my friend David's home. There was a good crowd of about thirty who attended. The Rabble were not the only kilted ones there.

Bart of Whisky DC prepares us for our whisky tasting experience.

One for the road! Host David, Mael, SCV40BT, Kerr the Walker, Bart, Sir William.

Meinfs joined us at David's as the event was closing. Bart gave him his own private tasting.

Happy ending at Pat and Troy's Pub.

Argh! I can't see the pictures on my computer at work - so will have to wait until I get home this evening.

And it was Pat Troy's (formerly Ireland's Own).

I look forward to the next time.

    Sir William

Thank you for sharing , I particularly like the hunting(UK style) pictures in the background of your host's house.

Last night's company was a pleasure to be with.

@Sir William -- Pleased to meet you Sir William -- the Elliot Tartan is beautiful and has nice colors. I like your "blue look" with red accents and your very nice tweed jacket and waistcoat.

@svc40bt -- the red garter flashes work very well with the Mcleod Hunting! I think the Gold garters will work equally well and will add a brighter note!

@Mael -- what is the tartan you're wearing? It is quite nice. Very nice pictures.

It's a Robertson, red. The kilt is 5 yarder from USA Kilts. David and a few others are fellow members of Clan Donnachaidh. David is wearing the Robertson Hunting.

Having caught the tail end of the tasting - I was very lucky to be given a taste of two of Bart's single-malts. Those two have totally different tastes.
Sadly, I can't remember the names -- the first one was of cask strength -- Bart added some water to it. *I know guys some of you remember the name of that one*. (part of the name has a "farcas" sound to it - pls. help me out)...
    Yummm.

And so my Single-Malt education continues...
