    Sporran chain

I don't know if this has been done but I made one using a wallet chain from Hot Topic it was on sale for $2.99 I then got a cheap watch strap for $1.99 from walmart and put the rings in the watch straps if you need to clip it to your sporran just cut it in the center and use the clips that would attach the chain to the leather strap and the one that would be put on the wallet. I think it looke rather nice. I'll get pictures up when I can

    Sounds good!
I made my own sporran belt from cutting a belt in half horizontally, then cutting it at the back of the belt in the centre (where the sporran would be when it's turned round). It already had the fastener and holes - just like your watch strap and I just had to insert clips at either end which worked really well.
    Good luck

I bought this chrome belt at Kohls Dept. Store a while back for $29.00 and used
half of it for a sporran belt/chain for me using the leather portion from the old sporran
chain that came with the seal skin sporran when I purchased it.

I have enough left over to make one for friend Iain when we get the chance to
    get together. Honest opinions now.
