Burns' Night Save the Date
The Highland Rim Scottish Society's 15th Annual Burns' Night will be January 30th, 2010 at the Lakewood Country Club in Tullahoma, TN. Tickets are $35, but if we buy in block of 8 or 10, we might get a discount. I'll know more about that at our meeting this month.
The ticket price includes your meal of either fish, prime rib, or vegetarian. There will also be plenty of entertainment. People come from all over to attend this event.
Tullahoma is about an hour south of Nashville on I24. Below is our first brochure. I've been going for the last 3 years and it is a fun night. Dress is from formal to casual.
If you are in the middle Tennessee area, this is the Burns' night to attend. Heck we have folks come from Knoxville and Chattanooga, so no excuse for you guys over there.
If we could get an Xmarks table together, that would be awesome. Speak up if you are interested.

This is me.... speaking up! haha When would the purchase need to be made? I would have to have time to secure the funds but I've never been to a Burns Night so I think it's high time! Let me know!

Here is the final brochure. The prices are the same as last year. And from what I heard these prices are very good for the food served and the entertainment. There is a hotel lined up with special rates.
Money has to be in by Jan. 25th If we want to sit together, the earlier we can get it in the better. You can send your money to me and then I will turn it in for everyone. I know the holidays are upon us, but if I can get the money turned in by the end of the year, I'm sure we can get a table together.
If you have any questions, please ask.

Indeed! This may change everything! Alas, my kilt will likely be 'in the shop' at the time but there's always hope! Keep us informed!

We had a good time. I posted some photos somewhere in the pics forum. Got to meet MrTackyTN and found out that I work with his daughter.
