Last year's event was the area's biggest assembly of Xmarkers of the year. They are offering discounted tickets on their website until April 15th (currently $8 for Friday and $13 for Saturday - but $12 and $17 at the gate - I just purchased mine).

Activities include: Pipe Band competition; Highland Dance competition; Heavy Athletics Chicago Open; Rugby Sevens Highland Challenge; Children's Soccer Tournament; British Car Show; Scottish cultural exhibits; Scotch Whiskey tastings & seminars; live Celtic musical performances (both traditional and Celtic rock); Parade of Tartans; Kilted Mile Run; Raffle and Auction; children's crafts and activities; Celtic Canines and a variety of attendee contests such as: Shortbread, Knobbly Knees, Haggis Hurling and Haggis Eating. Plus vendors selling traditional Scottish fare.
