Grant's alleged kilt lift
Okay, so Grant claims the wind blew his kilt up and wants to claim this as a kilt lift. What say ye?
Does it count?
Does it not?

IMHO there has to be some human element, other than the kilt wearer, in the actual performance of a kilt lift or kilt check. Grant fails!

Were there any surviving witnesses?
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.

You raise a salient point there, Rex and on investigation there seem to be none. Well, at least no one is admitting to even being in the same State as GRANT.

The purpose, his reason for being, is entangled with achieving this status.
When he has achieved being kilt checked, he will have a moment of glory, then the rest of his life will be empty and without meaning.
It really doesn't matter to me.

I consider Grant to be a friend and I always support my friends.
I voted "no".

I will have to begrudginly admit that it was a kilt lift, however Grant is still in desperate need a kilt check (wet dog noses don't count).

Of course it was a certified, honest-to-goodness kilt check/lift! How could anyone not see that? Plain as day! An invisible maiden passed by and was dazzled by both flowing locks and flowing pleats and just had to take a gander. It couldn't be helped!
(Of course, Grant recently paid me money, so my vote might be suspect...)
