Kelly Green Athletic Tops for Contemporary kilts
First, I've no interest in this company. Have been a customer, got this email today, and while its too late for tomorrow, the prices seem VERY special and just thought I'd share. If its not appropriate under the rules please delete.
Many of us wear athletic gear with our contemporary kilts. This company makes replicas of historic atheletic jerseys.
Here's the email.
Whatever happened to old fashioned kelly green as a team color in American professional sports? Remember those great A's uniforms of the 60s and 70s? The Joe Namath-era Jets? The Philadelphia Eagles before they adopted that horrible chemical shade of teal? Yep, except for the Boston Celtics, modern teams seem to be afraid of wearing the green. It being St. Patrick's Day, we decided to have some fun with green. For one week only, if it's green, it's at a special price 25% off or more. Take a look!
Dublin of the Georgia State League got into the spirit of things in the early 1950s when they named their club the Green Sox (later the Irish). Get the Green Sox 1951 authentic road jersey or the brand new <A href="http://ebbetsfield.commercev3.com/lettercast/b_lc.php?c=_aOAea-IUi">Dublin home jersey</B> for only $99 (reg. $185). The authentic Green Sox cap is 25% off, and the new Green Sox Grounds Crew jacket is only $59. The Dublin Irish T-shirt is $18.
Also from the South is the kelly green authentic ballcap of the Birmingham Athletics from 1967.
The bold (for 1961) first year kelly green road vest flannel of the Hawaii Islanders of the Pacific Coast League awaits you. Also 99 bucks. (Note the actual jersey will say "Hawaii" in gold script).
The 1890 Boston Beaneaters and Hot Springs Bathers t-shirts can be had for 25% off.
These flannels aren't exactly ethnically Irish, but we thought we would throw in the Denver White Elephants from the Negro leagues, and the 1939 Oakland Oaks road, each at a special St. Patrick's Day price.
In football, the Boston Shamrocksof the old AFL is on sale, and in soccer, you can't beat the IRT Celtics of New York from the original American Soccer League of the 1920s.
This special is good for one week only. Flannel jerseys are made to order. Any questions write customer service or call 888-896-2936. Wear the green and save some green while you're at it! Happy St. Patrick's Day from EFF.
I don't know if the links will work off this pasted email but the website is www.ebbets.com
I have the old AFL Boston Shamrocks jersey - love it! Wearing it tomorrow with my green leather kilt.
