Highland hose vs country hose

The difference between the two?
I know the country hose AKA shooting socks are a little bit longer, but what else?

I believe it's like the difference between manure and fertilizer... Much depends on whether one is buying or selling. And how long your legs are...

I've had a recommendation to buy country hose since my legs are pretty long, and the difference was explained as exactly that: length.

the reason I asked is that I found some hoses on ebay and they werea good deal (still are)
I did a search with Tiree and I found a vendor (House of Labhran)that has a few House of Cheviot hoses for sale.

They are not expensive and most come with the option Make an Offer
(they were quite quick to take my offer, I think I should've offered less...)
