I just recieved a kilt from Kilrtmart and notice a single thread in two places that runs completely across the pleated part of the kilt. Is that supposed to be there or should I cut it?

Is it sewn in long, funny-shaped stitches and probably in a different color from the rest of the stitching in the kilt? If so, then it's most likely the basting thread which holds your pleats in position during shipping, and yes, you should pull it out.

Yes, that's kinda what I thought it was, but wanted to make sure before I cut anything. I CAREFULLY removed the thread and now it looks much better. Thanks for all the help!!
