Kilted one on Oprah
I saw a commercial last night for Oprah's show today featuring male make-overs. One of the men listed appeared to be a full time kiltie. Of course they didn't show the results, so I wonder if he's wearing pants now?
Cheers,
David

I'll have to see if I can find that one. I'm always interested to see makeovers. Good ones focus on reflecting the person, just in a better coordinated and mindful fashion. The bad ones usually tend to whitewash the person in whatever fashion style the person doing the makeover favors.

I'm guessing, from the "skirt" comment the designer makes during the "after" part of the ad that they put him in pants.

Why does a man in a kilt need to be "made over", he probably is already more well dressed than most. I will wait and see what the outcome is, but am ready to send out email.

Looks like the gentleman used to wear a trollopy utilikilt.
What a shame that they didn't outfit him in bespoke THCD...

Okay, so yeah, just turned it on, and it came on at that moment! Not that bad, wish he had stood up for the kilt a bit more. They told him to stay away from his wife's skirt. They asked him why the kilt. The town was all big kilt wearers, and he walked into the store one day. The guy asked him if he was looking for a kilt, he said no, the guy had him try one on, and well, it has been 9 years since he has worn pants. He has 16 kilts. He also said that kilts were "A big chick magnet." That elicited a loud yes from me, and a "not so loud," from my mom.

Agree. The suit was nice, for a person who likes pants. He could of dressed his kilt up a bit, just saying. He still looked nice in them. His wife had an amazing makeover.
It was his sister in law who got them to do it.
I don't think the suit should go into the trash. He should give it to someone who needs it, or something like that. Still, same idea. I doubt he will stay with pants.

She actually took the time to point the guy out again! I'm so glad her show is ending...too bad she has her own network and 24 hours to fill with stuff like this.
Okay...my rant is over. I feel better. Sorta.
You know, there are times I'm really glad that I no longer have cable

Maybe he should give them as a Christmas gift to his sister-in-law!

I was very ready to file a complaint to Oprah (little good it would do probably). Glad I did not have to. She proved to be respectful (all 3 minutes we saw).
