A nice Speyside and a Leslie Neilsen flick
Does life get any better?

Ah, Leslie Neilsen... Brings back memories.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Not Airplane, but Police Squad:
Bad guy: "Who are you? How did you get in here?"
Lt. Frank Drebin: "I'm a locksmith and I'm a locksmith"
I couldn't even type this without laughing!

How can you not also enjoy the sight gag from the same episode when a rock has been thrown through the window so the sign now says "ocksmith". When he gets there to open up there is a farmer waiting with an ox. That is just about my favorite sight gag from the series.

He kens na where the wind comes frae,

I visited a pal at New Years. He had just bought the dvd set for Police dauqS and we watched a few episodes. I didn't realize it was that old, but come to think of it, my dad and I used to watch it together. Time flies.

I don't drink anymore and I don't watch TV anymore, Nighthawk, but I used to like to have a glass of very dry cabernet or some sort of red wine in the evening, sometimes with a steak or something, and watch funny movies or Sunday cartoons.
Eather that or the Iron Chef shows on Food Network.
Ah, them was the days.
