Poll: Indoors or Outdoors
Where do you wear and prefer to wear the Kilt?
Indoors.
Outdoors.
Both.

I'm not much for pubs & parties but I often wear a kilt indoors at home for comfort.
But my most enjoyable kilt wearing times have been outdoors.

I voted both, I don't go hiking or anything like that so my idea of outdoors is walking to the shops etc but I enjoy just going for a stroll around town in my kilts, and of course io like to wear my kilts inside too.
The hielan' man he wears the kilt, even when it's snowin';

Inside, outside, it matters not to me.

In, out, all about.
In fact I had a rare experience just this afternoon. It was number one daughter's birthday today and we had organised to take her out for lunch. I was not expecting the 12yo granddaughter to come as whenever she sees me in a kilt she bolts the other way. Not only did she want to come for lunch she sat next to me at the restaurant.

The only place I do not wear a kilt is up a ladder.
It's strange when people say they wear a kilt to lounge about the house. About the only other time my kilt comes off is when I'm in the house lounging. Then it is sweat pants and a robe.

I wore mine up a ladder just to get a reaction out of my wife."Honey, don't you know?, -you're not supposed to do that". I was being schooled in skirt etiquette.
I usually lounge around the house in my SportKilt comfy kilt and a robe as I am now.
I enjoy my kilt both indoors and out. Inside I enjoy various clean up chores and cooking and outside I like hiking, all for the swish of the kilt. It's no fun to just sit in the kilt.
