    Very nice, the spirals look spot on. Not an easy thing. I've never been able to get them even.

    Jim I had an old maker show me how to do it about 10 years ago and I forgot about it till Sunday. Take a string or thick thread, secure it to one end and wrap it till it is even on the handle then secure it on the other end. Make sure it is all even then use blue layout spray or I used a light primer grey to spay over the handle. Let it dry and then you have a perfect pattern to carve out

    Nice work. I like the contrast between the two materials and the simplicity of the design. "Understated elegance" comes to mind!
    The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.
