    Main forum page got wider

The main forum page (and the pages under that) is now much wider than it was just a few hours ago. I have to scroll to the right to see the things on the right-hand margin (like the User CP with my avatar, the X Marks Sponsors banner, etc.). Normally, that doesn't occur unless someone posts an extra-large pic to a thread, and it only happens on that thread. Even going to 75% zoom - which makes the text really tiny - didn't fully overcome the change in size.

I have cleared my cache, temp files, etc.

If it helps, I'm running IE 8.0, Windows XP, SP3. I have a 15" LCD monitor. My screen resolution is set at 1024 x 768. Other websites do not appear to have changed, so it doesn't appear to be something on my PC (a virus, updates to Windows or IE, etc.).

I don't have any other browsers installed, so I don't know if this occurs in other browsers.

It's probably not your computer. Steve posted a something yesterday about how he was trying some new formats for the site.

This should be the link to it.

I think I see the source of the change. It's the XMarks Advertisers bar at the bottom of the page. (I seldom scroll all the way down to the bottom once I've been through the threads I want to see.) There are 7 slots going across, as opposed to the 4 I see in the Partners area at the top.

Thanks a ton -- all better now!

I have my monitors vertical and the page wasn't fitting!

When I maximize the IE window, it appears to be fine now. When I have IE in my standard configuration (about 85% screen width), there's still a little bit to scroll right, but I can see the User CP and Sponsors bar without having to right scroll now. (I usually don't maximize IE unless I'm looking at the photo threads I mentioned in my first post.)

    Thanks Steve!

Trying to view threads on my iPhone was a bit hard on the eyes when the page was a little wider, so thanks for fixing that.
