Another way to make cutouts useful

I found out that the cutouts I have are just big enough to cover my case for glasses. Original artificial leather was totally warned out. So here is the photo of before:

Yes. The tricky part is getting the fabric around the edges. I did make some snap cuts, prior stretching it over edge. First I took everything apart, pulled old "leather" down and cleaned everything. Then I glued the fabric on flat surface and afterwards worked with curved part. The last part was edge and inner part. I assembled the case back and glued the inner part of case.

Simple!

I can say that this is kiltmaker accessory, after all I am a kiltmaker (sort of) and I do need glasses.

Interesting idea.

I had wanted to take all the fell pleat cut outs from my kilt and piece them together into a waistcoat front. I would have needed a lot of help matching them up, and it might have come out as if the front of the waistcoat were quilt-like, so I never tried.
