Anyone up for the Inaugural Ball?

With the 2011 election behind us, the next gubernatorial inauguration will be on Tuesday, December 13. The Inaugural Ball will be on the grounds of the state capitol that evening and is free to the public.

I'll be there and I'll be in my kilt.

Check that. In the Inaugural Committee meeting this afternoon it was revealed that the ball will be at the Frankfort Convention Center instead of at the capitol. This is a cost-saving measure, but it should still be a pretty nice affair.

At night? Yuck. Oh, wait. I'll sort of be working, too. Only I'll be at the ball.

Not all night, but long enough to miss the ball. (16:30 - 01:00, generally.)
