Inexpensive "sgian dubhs" and "Kilt Pins"

Was surfing for goods for work and wound up at Crazy Crow Trading Post. Some info is scant, but at these prices what the heck. They have a page of "mini-knives" that would easily work as sgian dubhs.

    http://www.crazycrow.com/mm5/merchan...de=841-450-200

And they have a page of badges that could work as kilt pins.

    http://www.crazycrow.com/mm5/merchan...de=754-100-000

Its a busy and complicated website...who knows what else lurks out there....

I haven't done business with them yet, maybe someone else can give us the heads up about dealing with Crazy Crow TP.

I personally will never buy from them again. They have changed over the years. I used to buy from the all the time but now they have very rude customer service reps. I was treated very badly twice in the same day by this company. They changed my order without my approval and then told me I would have to just live with it. Their quality has also gone to crap as well. I would not recomend this company to anyone.

For those who are interested in decently made traditional sgian dubhs (i.e. carved wooden hilts, leather sheaths, carbon steel blades, etc.) that don't cost a fortune, there is a line put out by John Barnett in the UK that are quite reasonable in price (£14 + shipping) and better looking & more traditional than much of what is offered elsewhere in the same price range:

The same maker also offers a line of dirks in matching styles for around £53 + shipping:

These can be found on ebay, and through several other on-line merchants. I have purchased some from a company called Bay Tree Interiors in North Yorkshire, UK, and had good service from them.

    Thanks for that head's up!

I was wondering because their prices are so low...something had to give in the way of quality or service.
