Me in my kilt chatting with Billy Connolly
This shot was taken with me in my kilt at the Fredericton Highland Games with Billy Connolly, a friend from way back in the teenage years. We were reminiscing about the Glasgow Folk Center, partying and the times we drank together on Saturday afternoons singing folk songs at the Scotia. Glasgow’s oldest Pub on Stockwell St.

Stephen, was that when he was in Canada shooting his series through the Northwest Passage. I loved his reflections on "our home and native land."

What a neat photo of you and the Big Yin! That was a great series by the way.
Well done!

I freaking love Billy Connolly's work! His standup, his films, and his documentaries are absolutely a joy to watch.
He has a bit in his standup show poking fun of the fact that he always dies in his films. He says something along the lines of, "don't miss the first twenty minutes or you'll miss my part. They always kill me off in the first part of the movie." Except in "Mrs Brown."
