I have one of their tweed argylll jacket and waistcoat combo. Yes they are a good quality, being made by the StKilda Group of companies. It is a good fit for a standard off the rack. As with all clothing, if you want a perfect fit, you go with custom tailoring.
Shoot straight you bastards. Don't make a mess of it. Harry (Breaker) Harbord Morant - Bushveldt Carbineers
Thanks for the reply. I probably wouldn't wear it often enough to justify a custom tailored vest. I just wanted a satisfied customer to verify that I won't be making a mistake in ordering one.

I appreciate it...
I have an 'Argyll' tweed jacket and waistcoat (in a brown check tweed by Lovat Mill in their medium weight, Kirkton range) currently on order with Rocky at USA Kilts and I highly recommend them. Rocky is very personable and is all business. I am a stickler for detail and having things done to my (often weird/OCD) specifications, so trust me, USA Kilts is a very good route to go.
Thank You Very Much!! I just ordered the vest. USA Kilt was recommended to me, but I wasn't certain. And wanted some opinions, such as yours. You have allayed my apprehension...
You will be happy, no doubt. USAK does great work and has excellent quality items. I also have a tweed jacket and vest combo, but mine are made to measure as well. However, I would still recommend their stuff even off the rack (and have been eyeballing their black argyle/vest off the rack myself).
