    Sad news that Shirley Temple passed away.
    She was such a delight and brought sunshine and smiles to so many people around the world.

    Shirley's the one on the right.

    WWW shown on black-and-white TV in the early 60's was the first time I ever saw a man in a kilt and heard the bagpipes.

    So very sorry to hear of Shirley Temple's passing today. I didn't agree with all of her politics but who couldn't love the lovely, positive, optimistic and very talented curly-haired little girl. She was a very decent actress as a teen too! How tragic that in 1934 we had Shirley Temple and in 2014 we have Miley Cyrus! Rest in Peace, Shirley!!
