    "Mad Jack" Churchill

Okay, so the tales of the bravery/insanity of Lt.Col. John Malcolm Thorpe Fleming "Mad Jack" Churchill float around here and in other places quite frequently, and rightly so. I was thinking about naming one of my culinary creations after him. The recipe is a cheese ball that contains serrano peppers, habaneros, and (not originally intended to go with the name) Scotch bonnet peppers along with shredded Monterey Jack cheese. I was just wondering if anyone thinks that this is an item worthy of the namesake as it is going into a cook book in the appetizer section.

Your recipe, you can name it.

A few lines about the lieutenant colonel and why the dish is named after him might not be out of place in the cookbook.

    I'd enjoy seeing the recipe.

Nothing is out of place as it is a cookbook with no overall theme. The working title is the Schizophrenic Chef.

From the title alone, I like the cookbook. Do let us know when it's in print.

Your cheese ball sounds like a good complement to my habanero-mango-pineapple hot sauce.

A great modern day hero , I personally wouldnt call a dish after a hero , unless my culinary skills were suitable to grace the finest tables in the world ! My thoughts only .
