After seeing the posts and reading various articles here I realise that the 2yd kilt outfit that I bought was a bit of a mistake (well the shirt, hose, flashes and sporran part will come in handy) so I've just taken the plunge and ordered a 5yd kilt. My first one ! I hope I've done the right thing (I'm sure I have) and I'm now having to play the waiting game. I think that these 5-8 weeks are going to go very slowly

It's MacDonald of the Isles Hunting - Ancient. I think that it's quite a good one to start with and a little bit different from some of the standard ones

I had to wait nearly a year for my first kilt, until I'd lost sufficient weight to look reasonable in one.
