    Underwear....or not

Apologies if this is a repost:

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukne...underwear.html

I tend to agree with requiring underwear with the rentals - I mean seriously, you don't know whose gross leaky dong has been smearing that apron...if one must wear the kilt traditionally, then, in my opinion, that is incentive to purchase instead of rent. Maybe there should be some sort of disposable germ barrier similar to those paper toilet seat covers...

I've only rented tuxedo, never a kilt. The places I've rented from require returning the suit cleaned or face the fine. There were printed statements on the sales contract that stated this. I believe the same practice should be offered with kilt rentals or any other garment rentals.

I remain amazed that kilt renters and kiltmakers don't have stacks of underkilts to sell with their rentals and sales...keeps the kilt clean while maintaining traditional freedom.

Underkilts!? Well, there it is! Granted, you would think cognizant adults would know better how to treat a rented product, but, yes, I would most certainly have an underkilt go out with every rental, as well as a stipulation in the agreement.

    Old news

It's surprising that the Telegraph has produced such an out-dated article. Short of news, or are its reporters all away on their summer holidays?
