Actually, the funny thing is, she's done preparing and has been for a while now. We've only been waiting on my stuff to come in. Seems rather backward now that I think about it.
May you always feel as lucky and as pleased as you do now- and may you always be as pleasing to your bride as you will look on your wedding day.
Thanks!

Well that's it then. Your job done and dusted, all you have to do now is turn up on the day at the appointed hour. Time for a spot of fishing until---------!
I am glad it is all turning out OK.

Whew! I'm sure it's a huge relief. You all will look smashing.
It got me to thinking, and I can't remember, in my 35 years of piping at weddings, many of them kilted, a wedding at which the men were in matching Montrose doublets.
There have been the rare one or two at which the groom was in a Montrose or Sherrifmuir, but the other men where always in PCs or Argylls.
You men will really stand out!
And I love your choice of tartan!

Glad things came through in the end, and with a little breathing room as well. The outfits should be quite a success. I'm sure everyone here is glad to know it is all working out in the end. Hopefully, the day goes smoothly, or whatever hiccups you have are minor and easily overcome.

AWESOME. That's what we were going for. We've tried to create our own memorable look as tastefully as we could, and when it came to what we men would wear, it wouldn't have worked any other way I think.

If anyone had questions as to the quality of the Scotweb doublets, I'll say they're put together pretty well. While changing the buttons out for some ones that carry a some nostalgic meaning for me and my best man, the tailor showed me just how things had been done, and it was fairly impressive. They might be expensive, but they're definitely quality pieces, IMO.
