Moriarity would never list all his crimes to Sherlock, they are both geniuses and already know everything about each other.

To be fair the only place Moriarty is mentioned while living was in the Final Problem, though I agree Moriarty would not confess everything to Holmes. Holmes of course would have deduced all before Moriarty could confess at any rate.

I saw some of that show and it looked awesome! Wish I had an Xbox and Netflicks so I could see it more.

Re: Kilts in new Sherlock Holmes

I'm afraid I will have to pass. I saw the first Rbt Downy version, and I don't like it. I love the Arthur Conan Doyle stories (I've read them all) and can only accept certain liberties with the two primary characters. With that said, Billy Wilder's "The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes" (in partial four-parts) is a personal favorite among the films.

Yes. The Aberdeen Shipping Company sounds appropriate enought. If you are well up in your London, you will know that the office of the company is in Fresno Street, which branches out of Upper Swandam Lane.

Lightbulb Re: Kilts in new Sherlock Holmes

Okay fellow Sherlockians, I'm all prepared to start a new social-group devoted to our shared passion for the Canon & the kilt; however, before I move ahead, I want to be certain that we have a consensus on the name "The Aberdeen Shipping Company".
Are there anymore suggestions or shall this be the groups new name?

Also, I'd like to submit three (3) illustrations to choose from for the groups identifying picture. I attempted to find something Scottish related to the Holmes image. The best I could come up with is this of a statue located in Edinburgh:

    picture a

second is this illustration taken from "The Man With The Twisted Lip" (from whence the Aberdeen Shipping Co. appears):

    picture b

Lastly is this one of the great detective in his classic tweeds from "The Final Problem":

    picture c

    Let me know your preference.
    Thanks.

How about this photo of Dr Joseph Bell who was the inspiration for Sherlock Holmes?
