It appears that the article is about a local (to me) mason in Mississagua, Ontario. Whether featured in the article for his wearing of kilts during work or for his adaptation of the famed Rumford fireplace I do not know until I pick up the magazine. Should I feel the need to become a mason's apprentice I know what I should wear for the job interview though! Actually McMurdo was in construction at one time he'd make a good "bricky".
I'd love to see Holmes himself in a kilt. Kelly and I like his show, Holmes on Homes.

I love Holmes on Homes - that dude is premier in his craft - I always learn something watching his show
Mike Holmes no longer makes Holmes on Homes. He does have a new show called "Holmes Inspection". Pretty much the same idea but his second in charge- Damon is now in charge and Holmes is seen only at the beginning doing a home inspection and at the reveal.
I have to say during the time i moonlighted in commercial construction if I worked for a guy like Mike I would still be working in construction. He has the same demands of workmanship I have and demand of mechanics that i have working with me.
