I think as Jock alluded to in one of his posts... Bonnets arent really worn that much at all. I suspect this is probably something to do with the popularity of the motor car and its adequate heating system..
Tam was properly jocked already... Have to remember they have smaller diameters and stiched seams rather than being a single piece of felt...
