Re: The Action Kilt Pic Challenge
Okay, definitely "doing something" as distinct from posing, even though it's "just walking" on a trail in the coastal montane woods. It's my avatar photo, and what makes it special to me is that it was shot 12 weeks or so after I got a structural upgrade (a new right hip) last year:
"It's all the same to me, war or peace,
I'm killed in the war or hung during peace."

Re: The Action Kilt Pic Challenge
I found a pic of Mickey, throwing a ball at a "dunk tank" in a small local fair.

I also snapped a photo of him walking the same day, in an attempt to get that magical swish that happens.

I've lived in this city over 20 years putting in thousands of miles running with the crowds on the prominent trails. The population is well over one million and in all that time I have NEVER seen anyone running in a kilt. My "action" was a "crusade." My third very public kilted run this year. Am I alone in thinking I might interest others?

Here's Peter, putting the interfacing into the MacGregor modern he's wearing in piperdbh's photo above. This is from Kilt Kamp 2008:

Re: The Action Kilt Pic Challenge

The mug is full of Wild Turkey American Honey, the clock says about 3am or so, and I'm about to stick my hand in a pan full of raisins and flaming everclear....... Don't ask me why, lol. Needless to say, about 2 seconds after this picture i had a hand full of flaming raisins and no arm hair, tell me that isn't action!!!
By the way, this picture is from The Gatherin' at Cedar Bluff Lake in Kansas, summer of 2011 shortly before I was deployed.
