That's really sharp pleating! And it all came about because of the Johnson Level & Tool Company.

    Re: DIY attempt number 6

I had that clamped in when I made my X-Kilt. I actually did use a framing square this time to keep my center line centered when laying out the pleats.

I just finished pressing. I forgot to bring my camera with me to my mom's house. I'll snap some pictures tomorrow when I pick it up after it dries for a while.

    Re: DIY attempt number 6

I just finished it 3.5 hours before Riverdance comes to Tupelo. I had to leave work early today to finish it. I'll get some action pics tonight

I made a necktie and garter ties this weekend also. My mom helped me figure out how to make the garter ties. I cut the body of them on the bias to give them a little stretch. We'll see how well they work tonight.

    Better late than never!

Notice how the stripes in the fell slant from bottom left to top right? Anyone have any ideas what might cause that and how to correct it or at least prevent it on the next one?

Could be how you sewed in the supports. A little too tight around the reverse pleat was something I had to stop doing.

Supports? Are you talking about the stabilizer or the canvas?
