    Re: Practicing sheaf

Oh yeah, I really recommend you just buy a sheaf from Jason. Making one is a real pain!!!!! Jason's are worth every penny! They take a ton of abuse.

    Re: Practicing sheaf

I need a sheaf and a fork to add to my collection.

    Sheaf's fun!
I keep all of my throwing implements in my trunk. Often, I have to get a nap-time blankie out of the trunk for GGGP jr, at her preschool. I've gotten some eyebrow raised looks for my "trunk oddities." The fork will add to the mystique!

    Re: Practicing sheaf

If I can remember, I'll post a picture of my fork tomorrow. Next time I hit up the home despot I might make myself a new 3 and 2-tine fork from manure forks, just so I've got a nice variety.

So I just picked up a 5 tine fork for some yard work, came looking for this thread and I are the confused.

If you are filing, grinding, sanding and oiling your tines anyway, why would you cut a perfectly good five tine fork down to two tines?

I am asking, I am coming at this from cleaning horse stalls and having archaeology field school as my favorite elective...

    Thanks.

Some learn the fork, others are born to it.
