Thanks McRod, but I am married. I am sure to save some cash without the smoking, but if my wife has anything to say about it, I still will never see that cash.

My dress sporran is angora (long and curly, and very bright white), and I've seen three different kinds of fox and badger in addition to the ones you've mentioned, Dave.

Bryan...one more picture to post, one of these days...

The dress sporran showed up yesterday. It is great! The cross chains make it look so much better than the usual straight chains. The seal skin is awesome. From one angle the sporran looks dark grey/black and from another angle it looks almost silver. I am very pleased with this sporran. Now to find a dressier event

To paraphrase the immortal John Byner from Bizarre, is that genuine Saskatchewan Seal Skin?

It definitely looks like it was worth the wait!

It's funny, On the back there is a sticker saying that it is Greeland Seal. If Bridgette Bardot or Paul MacCatrney start protesting outside my house, I'll have to club them.

As luck would have it, I understand Bridgitte is headed to our fair shores.

I thought she was just on the East yesterday. Sadly those movie star looks have faded and she is not looking any better than the back of some of those seals

    Hmmm, never thought of that......

It's funny, my 5 year old son is a bit of a sensitive lad and he loves animals. So while he really likes the sealskin sporran, I had to tell him that it was from a seal that had died naturally of old age and with it's family around it. He loves the stories about silkies, kelpies and water horses.
