The cilt was ordered from the Wales Tartan Centre http://welshtartans.bpweb.net/ and it was pretty fast too, only had to wait four weeks for it.

No - see above but they might be able to do one for you if they can source the tartan.

Well I have put my name in but don't know yet if I will be there the same weekend as the Master himself.

Lovely kilt, I like the way the colors stand out in the sun! Very good looking. I do like your Argyll as well! I am going to have to start looking at a colored jacket ther than black option as well.

Certainly Derek - that will be a pleasure and mean two proud Welsh cilt wearers gracing a hostelry at the same time!
Looking forward to seeing Elaine and your good self again!

I did have a bit of fun in Hector Russell where I bought it. Moira the sales lady said it was a day jacket, not an Argyll, but when I checked the label it said "ARG" so unless it's an Argentina jacket it could well be seen as a variant to the slightly more formal black Argyll jackets.

A very handsome cilt McClef.
That tartan looks like it would go equally well with black or brown leather accessories. I have exactly one striped shirt (a rugby style one) that I wear with my kilts, an even that one I have some reservations about.
Cheers
