Many thanks for that, Grant. I DO use something similar (not the 'occupant', you understand! If I used her, my neighbours would definitely be fearing the worst!!), but it is the handles that are so helpful when getting up. The fact that one is kneeling a couple of inches above the ground - and one is still kneeling - makes very little difference. I am still left with an impression of the kneeling pad on my knees!!!
