Neato! I sure like that Caledonia tartan. I think you and the Ranger are trying to catch up with Ham and Ron!

Thanks Alex, a pity the photo doesn't bring out the red thread very well. My mum likes that cilt too and I wore it to church when visiting her last Sunday and got some very nice compliments about it.

If the weather had been warmer it would just have been the shirt, but one has to be prepared for various types of weather!

Well a simulator can only reproduce some of the sensations but the acceleration and deceleration were pretty good!

My kollection is only 25% of that of Ham's and is unlikely to catch up but it was seeing Ham modelling his Caledonia that made me want one and I have noted a few of his other tartans for future acquisition!

Thanks for sharing the pics, it's nice to "put a face to" your posts. You look quite dashing in all the venues, especially in front of the hotel...is that a Caledonia tie you are sporting, too?

Thanks for your kind comments Moosedog.

No, the tie was one which contained some of the colours in the tartan but wasn't in the Caledonia itself.

I don't actually have much in the way of tartan ties though I do have a few tartan bow ties.
