The Water Horse

Cute movie about a possible origin to the Loch Ness Monster.

Kilts are in one scene of the movie, but not very visible. You can't see them while the gentlemen are standing (They're behind a table), but as they're eating, there's a quick scene where the water horse runs under the table.

You can see the kilt hose, but not much of the kilts.

I really need to watch the movie again, but this was the only place I noticed anything kilt related.

We went opening weekend, and I wore my black Amerikilt. I noticed the same thing in that scene under the table.

Just kidding. We all liked it. It was a welcome bright spot in a very busy and hectic holiday season.

My kids really enjoyed the show. It was a cute movie (kilts or not).

Just got back from seeing it with my 8 yr old daughter. What a fun picture! Great for the whole family!

On the subject of kilts, I saw two, possibly three in the formal dining scene. You have to look quick to spot them however!

The first is when the lad's mother walks into the room to join the formal dinner, you will note the foremost group of (4) gentlemen. One is wearing a dark blue based tartan kilt. The other is next to the officer giving the toast at the table. He's wearing what appears to be a kilt of Royal Stewart tartan.
There appeared to be a third (& possibly a fourth) at the table, but the view was blocked by the table & bodies.
Perhaps when it comes out on dvd I can pause it for a better look (as I know we will own this one! ).

I just wish that in the pub scene there could've been one ol' gent wearing either an old (& rather well worn) tartan or solid tweed kilt, rather than everyone in trousers! My only real complaint.
Oh well...
