Alan I'd be willing to bet you would like it less in person. I think the reason it looks not as odd as usual is the edge of the jacket gets lost in the picture. In person I think you would see it much more clearly. In the pics where you can really see the edge clearly he has the jacket pulled back.

I think it will be passable once the jacket is shortened and the sporran is changed out.

I would not put it past him to have both remedied before tomorrow night. Being as stub... errrrr, persistent in one's thinking has its benefits. I can vouch for the fact that once he's got his mind set to something, he's pretty much on it 'til it's resolved. I can relate to that way of thinking. ;)

"Authentic" or not, he'll look quite good next to my red dress, I predict.

    Well.......
I modified it last night. Only took 20 minutes since I learned from the tweed jacket (and the fact that I didn't have to do any basting stitches as this one had stitches around the collar already!)

I'll post pics in the DIY section later.

I'm finishing a DIY one in the morning.

Fake of course. Might be a touch too big though. I had to make it large enough to accomidate certain tools.

Ok, so the Skunk sporran came out WAY bigger than I planned. Plus it looks like crap. I guess I'll have to make do with the Nightstalker till I can get a real one.

    SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

This is a FAMILY web site!

Here's what it looks like now. I know Black on black might be hard to see but this is what I got.

Also, here's the sporran belt I made from a small womans belt found at Walmart for $7 and a few extra parts. I like it cause it's reversable.
    Black inlay side

    All metal side.
