I think you look very nice Jamie. The jacket and waistcoat go together quite well.
And I'll follow with Rex and say that bookish describes it well.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Depends on the tartans. I don't think I'd try this with a Loud MacLeod waistcoat... But this looks very dapper.

Much like the actor who played Dr. Henry Jones in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.

Well Rupert Giles from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series is in general my fashion role model.
He is of course daring, vibrant, bold, modern, and sexy ...
...in a English, bookish, tweedy, and old fashioned sort of way*
Tea anyone?

Cheers

Reason: *Then again the English think that "Would you care to have a look at my etchings? " is a great pick up line :-)

I still say Henry Jones Sr. (as played by Welsh actor Lloyd Owen):

Nick and Phil,

He is obviously going to be one of the first ones against the wall when the bow tie revolution comes about!

But there will also be that forum filled with brave non-bow tie wearers who will stand up against the bow tie tyranny.

Looks good Jamie, traditionally you could of course mix your tartans, I like the bow tie, and I really think those that are against them just never learned how to tie one.
