Looking good!
I see that you are wearing it with a standard kilt belt.
Does your casual model have the standard belt loops and lower rise?
Cheers

Jamie, I had the kilt made at ‘jeans’ waist with the Rocky’s standard 1 ½” belt loops. Here is a photo with the ‘standard’ belt.
On this thread, you are correct I put on a 2 1/4" kilt belt, which I wore over the loops. I found both belt styles comfortable in wear.
I decided on the ‘jeans’ waist and 1 ½” loops as the kilt being more of a summer knock around and with the idea I would be wearing it when I had long periods of sitting, i.e., transatlantic fights.

Capital idea on the belt loops - they would seem to have more use with a small belt anyway, and many gents skip the loops altogether with wide belts.
Anyone else notice how much the Caledonia and Carolina tartans look alike?

How does the "jeans" waist of your casual kilt effect where you wear your sporran? I'm halfway through my USAK jones (longest. eight weeks. ever.) and I've been reading up on where to wear my sporran. Most posts say 4 or so fingers' width below the belt, but I believe that advice is for a kilt worn at the "traditional" waist. Does the lower waist of the casual kilt change how low you wear your sporran?

Well, I am not the best to give your advice on the proper placement. However, my friend George, a Scottish piper pictured with me had me adjust my sporran, hose and flashes to the PROPER standard before the photo. I do find I like this position best.
