I can only pray that Craig's family have solace in that he suffered very little in passing. May they be blessed by the support of all of Craig's friends.
Craig, keep an eye on the family, and guide them well from above.
Peace

Joyce and I just got back from a whirlwind trip to Iowa and places nearby. No chance to log on yesterday after lunch until just now. We are both stunned. Our prayers go out to Craig's wife and family.

I'm absolutely stunned. I've been traveling and the few times I managed to drop into XMTS I missed all of the news about Craig. I came this close to meeting him when he was thinking about coming out to the Highland Games in Vista, CA this year. We even chatted once by phone and he seemed one of the most straightforward and sincere gentlemen you could ever hope to meet. At the last minute he was asked to DJ a retirement party for a friend's step-mother instead. His comment was, "helping out a good friend seems more important."
My sincere condolences to Craig's family.

My condolences also. This all seemed to happen so fast, but I guess that that is better than lingering on for months as my father in law did.

Didn't have the honor to know him, but may he rest in peace.

I want to travel too far, have too many friends, enjoy too many laughs, give too many blessings, share too much love, be too 'out there,' say too wise in sayings, live a little more, too.
Good bye Retro Red. I've stayed too long.

Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

Ride on Brother
Never had the chance to meet him in person, as I have never had the chance to meet any others of us in person. His posts always caused me to smile, chuckle or laugh out loud. Condolences to his family and to fellow X-markers who knew him.

Terrible news. My deepest sympathy goes firstly to his family and also all his many friends.
... Seemed like such a fine upstanding chap. How very sad.

I just learned of his passing on another kilt forum and thought I would post some words here.
I was privileged to call him my friend, for a while we attended the same church and I went to some Scottish events with him. I moved to the other side of the city and over the last two years we had drifted apart.
I am shocked at how quickly he went.
His family and his loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Found out about this yesterday from another X-marker, was totally bummed. Seems like we just learned about his problems and then he's gone.
Just goes to prove we should all;
Love like there is no tomorrow, laugh with the fullness of life, dance like no one is watching; Live to day for the blessing it is, tomorrow never comes and yesterday is just a memory.
May the good Lord bless and keep you Craig, we never met but you were my friend.
