A loved one has passed
My wife, Mary's, father passed peacefully, this evening.
He was aware, and surrounded by family... he said he was ready, and passed in his wife's arms.
Elwood was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
I was most fortunate to be considered, by him, as one of the family.

One of the best things we can do in this life is provide good examples and tutelage for this and the next generation, and it sounds like Elwood did just that. Keep this good man in your heart and memory, he has earned it.
Please accept my condolences, I'll keep Elwood and the family in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences as well. Losing someone close is never easy, even when they have lived a long, rich life. Cherish his memory and celebrate his life as it was.
