Also one of our forum, Robin Lous < XMarks handle: Robin > makes some beautiful and unique pins. His web site appears to be down so I don't know if he still makes the pins but I highly recommend the thistle pin if you can get one. Beautiful handcrafted pewter. Shoot him a PM and see.

I didn't go traditional at all with my kilt pin. Not sure it fits your criteria very well, but here it is.

wow....i was looking in previous threads and someone had a picture of an owl kilt pin they use. which TOTALLY made something in my head go "holy cow! why not get a tiger brooch or kilt pin!" so i looked on ebay and found one right away of what i was looking for.....although.....it's all rhinestones and such. anyone know of someone who can make something like this that is silver or pewter or something?
