He is spot on with the look and the attitude. Next time the underpants issue comes up he should shout "FREEDOM!".

That is one handsome fellow who wears the kilt well. Be sure to pass on my own personal compliments. I especially like the sporran; I got a similar one on ebay for my grandson.

Thanks all for the very kind replies.
I've got his belt nearly finished, it's fashioned from a belt of mine (20yrs old) that, while cool and antique looking (and still fits me), isn't something I'd wear anymore. It's the perfect width for him as a kilt belt.

But I've run up onto a problem now dressing my little guy.

Does anyone have an inexpensive option for kids kilt hose?
I thought about soccer socks, but they tend to have the striped cuff.

There's a company called Wigwam that makes reasonably-priced wool/nylon blend socks in children's sizes. They run about $12 a pair, if I am remembering correctly, and would probably do the trick.

Sport Kilt socks work well for my son, as do hose W. Brewin on eBay. http://stores.ebay.com/WB-SOCKS_KILT...34Q2ec0Q2em322

The day he got the kilt will probably be one he never forgets. Good for all.
