I'm picturing Dudley Do-Right wearing a Maple Leaf kilt.

i sure would like another one of your casual kilts and the maple leaf tartan would be a fine way to honor my family's Canadian roots...
*sniff, sniff* I smell a sale coming, hmmm, Is that Maple I smell

I'll keep my eyes open on your site and hopefully here at XMTS as well.
Thanks!

I think we need a little clarification, is that more 'sales' headed your way, or a 'sale' headed ours?
I expect the first, and hope for the second. But maybe both?

Congrats, Northerly Neighbors! It's a gorgeous tartan. I don't even have a state one to wear....

Just received my new wool "Lodge Shirt" in Maple Leaf from Pendleton today, to go with the throw I already had from them. Very nice indeed, and congrats to Canada!

My better half just picked up a Maple Leaf fully-pleated and lined wool skirt from Johnstons of Elgin on eBay. If it is heavy enough fabric and doesn't fit her we may re-purpose it...
(unless it's cashmere. My, that's a thought for a comfy kilt.)

The City of Barrie (Ontario, Canada) is on prominant display in the B&S showroom. IMO it is a far nicer tartan.
While it is nice to have an official tartan, I wish they chose a more attractive pattern. Something with brighter colours. Perhaps white and red with some blue for Quebec.
