Back in Franklin, NC
Well, it's been a long time since I've posted here. So, hello again and how is everyone?
I'm back in Franklin, NC and am my grandfather's caretaker. I'm also volunteering at the STM and today was the second day of that for me. Here's what I wore today:

The kilt I made back in 2008, I made the sporran around 2009, the sporran belt was made by me too, and the garter flashes as well. Most of those are somewhere in the "how to" section here from around that time.

Daniel's been a big help lending a hand here of late. And, let me say, that he did a marvelous job making the kilt he is wearing, a 6 yard knife pleated kilt from Lochcarron cloth.

Looking sharp! And that is one hefty-looking kilt belt. Nicely done!

You are a talented guy, Daniel! I know that Matt not only appreciates your help, but having another kilted man in the museum.

Your sporran is massive! Wow! Look good mate, love the Macpherson sett - for obvious reasons - are you a 'son of the Parson'?

I have a great-great-grandmother from Scotland who was Catherine Gow. Gow is a popular sept of MacPherson, even though she doesn't appear to be related to any of those Gow's. I used to head up a Jacobite themed club, so I wore a couple of tartans of some minor possible connections that were Jacobite clans.
