Coming to Franklin, NC in May
Catherine and I will be coming down to visit her family in Franklin, NC. We'll be there from May 14th to May 20th. If anyone wants to do a kilt night in Franklin, we'd love to be a part of one. By the way it is my birthday on the 13th so a late birthday kilt night would be a nice touch.
Unfortunately, with time constraints there is no way we can do one in Asheville even though we know it is a nice central location. Catherine hasn't seen some of her family in over a year and a half (we were last down in December of 2009).

Glen,
Do you have plans to attend the Gatlinburg Games while you are down here? It would be a good excuse also to take a nice drive through the national park.

Well we are going to be busy with Catherine's family so I'm not sure about the games. Of course I'll be showing up at the museum.

Glenn, that is great news, and I hope to be able to make it this time. Of course, there is that class reunion I have in Arkansas, but if there's anyway I can make it up, I surely hope to be there to greet you in person.

That's great Jim, Catherine has been talking about going to the Atlanta Farmers Market one day as well. So there is a possibility of a Georgia kilt night I guess.

Oh, I can promise you a Georgia kilt night. The memebers of Great SEKS will turn out, and I'll organize it, even if I'm out of town.

While I am at the museum Catherine will be busy bankrupting me at the yarn store. It isn't a promise that we'll be in Atlanta. Catherine will be looking for field peas. She hasn't had field peas in a very long time and if she can buy a couple of bushels, she'll can then in her canning jars while we're down in Franklin to bring up.

Matt
I just checked the days of the Gatlinburg Games and we will be driving down either the 13th or 14th so going to the games probably won't work for us after the 18 hour drive.

Too bad, those are a nice, small, games that I know you would enjoy. Oh well, look forward to seeing you in the museum!
