Kilted at Christmas
My two-year-old son had pestered me for a kilt of his own for months after I received my first kilt. Given that his normal attention span is measured in seconds rather than months, I figured he was pretty serious about it and ordered him a kilt (from USA Kilts), and I don't think either of us could be more pleased. While he'd worn it a few times since it arrived, Christmas Eve at my parents' house was the first time he'd been photographed, so here he is:

He is standing with my nieces who are showing off their tartan dresses; I don't know what tartan it is - my brother in law is a Pollock (by surname, not species) so I thought it might be the Maxwell tartan, but a closer look showed it wasn't. His socks are also very hard to keep up with how busy he is, so you'll notice they've slid down a bit.
Since my mother has suffered from a slew of health problems this past year, we were all busy helping to prepare the food and festivities (I am amazed that it took six people to do what she has always done on her own!), so there are not any proper photos of my kilt. This is the best I have:

One of these days we'll get one of my son and me.
Everyone had a very enjoyable time, and my son loved the added attention he got from wearing his kilt.
EDIT: The kilts are both the MacQueen Modern tartan.
