What is a D.O.G. Well that’s a Dutch Oven Gathering.
Here in Utah we have awesome mountains, spectacular deserts and a popular past time of cooking with cast Iron. Since I was a Scoutmaster for so many years some of the world champion Dutch oven chefs “think” I am well experienced with the ole black pot, well I am really not, but I like to try and it gets me invited to their events. Anyway I spent the morning with several “World Champion” cast Iron chefs, cooking, comparing recipes and eventually eating some incredible food. I just threw together an apple cobbler with some Gummy Bears for flavor and color. After dinner one of the “world Champions” came and complemented me on my cobbler. WOW that made me feel GREAT
