Knit neck ties?

Pass, I didn't wear those things back in the 80's either.

All this talk about the 80's. You must be a very young lot. I had knitted ties as a boy and I grew up in the 50's and early 60's. I didn't like them very much then because they stretched when making a knot and they had that square cut look at the bottom
