Ronald McDonald House Fundraiser
http://www.meninkilts.rmhcseattle.org
I'm curious to hear some feedback from the forum about this Ronald McDonald House fundraiser for Washington and Alaska.
There are photos of several men in kilts, and for a $25 donation, one can vote for the winner.
Here's the copy that accompanies the campaign:
"Individuality. Strength. Unabashed boldness in the face of conventionality.
These are the standards to which a man wearing a kilt holds himself.
Is it coincidence the qualities found in a man who wears a kilt are the same that help raise funds for families with seriously ill children? We think not.
It is with great pride that we present to you
Men in Kilts to benefit
Ronald McDonald House Charities®
of Western Washington & Alaska
These brave and valiant gentlemen are donning kilts to raise money for the families at the Seattle Ronald McDonald House. Pick your favorite and cast your vote as many times as you like. Each vote is $25 and sponsors one night of housing for a family."
The fellow who asked me to vote for him has one of the more comical ensembles.
