Late finding this thread, but fantastic job! Year ago my daughter made me a waistcoat to wear since my kilt doesn't fit anymore due to expansion. We never could find a pattern that would fit me, I'm a 52" chest, barrell chested and my waist is nearly the same, 48". Needless to say she tried her best by adding extra fabric but it didn't fit. She also wouldn't do the bias as I would have liked to have had diagonal stripes but no way she said. Still trying to find a pattern and haven't located one. Your talent makes me wish I could sew.
